KAZUM was initially founded in November 1946 as Kawasaki Ironworks, making use of the technical prowess cultivated at the Kure Naval Arsenal. Over the course of our history, we have accumulated both customer trust and a track record of results. Furthermore, the technical prowess of our welding, machining, and assembly departments has been praised by customers, resulting in our company being commended as an excellent supplier by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in 2014.
“Existing to bring happiness to people, local communities, and future society.”
By thinking of our company’s existence in this way, we have made efforts to contribute to local communities while evolving as a business.
In 2019, we entered the thermoforming machine business, not only as a supplier, but also in an attempt to sell our technical prowess to the world. For us, it’s a step towards putting new ideas into practice. Currently, we are developing sales channels in Vietnam and are continuing efforts to expand our sales market.
We also recognize the importance of the SDGs and are aiming to lead the industry with our energy-saving forming machines designed to improve productivity while reducing energy costs.
As part of our efforts to prepare for business continuity while generating employment opportunities, we plan to focus our energies not only on enhancing employee awareness and skills, but also on improving working conditions, such as by providing internal and external training, recruiting young employees, and enhancing welfare programs. We are determined to be a company that employees want to continue working for and that is worth working for.
KAZUM hopes to include everyone in its growth—from our customers to our employees, their families, and all members of the community—by focusing on kindness and instilling happiness.
These words express our new determination for the future. We will continue to evolve as a company by repeating a cycle of taking on challenges and innovation.
